Item #9495 Three lurid items from the Russian National Committee

Three lurid items from the Russian National Committee

Paris: Russian National Committee, [ca. 1928]. A scarce grouping of propaganda from the Russian National Committee (Russkii Natsional'nyi Komitet), an anti-Bolshevik exile group established in Paris following the Russian Revolution. The three items here warn U.S. capitalists - “and in particular the kings of the oil industry” - of supporting Stalinist oppression from “these enemies of freedom and private property, who are watching for the moment when they may literally cut the throats of their improvident adversaries.” Two of the flyers feature illustrations of U.S. currency contributing to the death of the Russian people under Stalin. All three printed on 8 ½” x 11” sheets. Two of the three are printed on both sides. All have folds from mailing, original envelope addressed to “News Journal,” Wilmington, Ohio included. Very scarce.
