Arlington, Va. American Constitutional League, [1943]. An intra-war pamphlet published by the Arlington chapter of the American Constitutional League, which was founded in 1943. The pamphlet’s title is taken from a quote by Congressman William Lemke, one of many quotes from various newspaper articles and speeches warning of the Socialistic and Communistic tendencies prevailing in the U.S. As was typical in anti-Communist propaganda of the time, employees of the U.S. government accused of Socialist or Communist leanings are identified. Members of the Arlington branch included N. C. Hines, W. S. Hoge, Jr., & Harold H. Heischman.
