Hamburg: Heinrich Kessemeier (Fichte-Bund), [1936]. English-language propaganda from the Fichte-Bund, the propaganda agency founded in 1914 by Heinrich Kessemeier. Reprints a speech by Erich Hilgenfeldt (a high-ranking SS member) from the 1936 Nürnberg Party Congress by, in which he discusses Bolshevism’s destructive impact on family life, motherhood, childhood and the community. He contrasts this with National Socialism’s focus on building community through enriching the family unit, “the basic element in the folk community.”
