Has Communism Engulfed Us Beyond the Point of Recall?

Pine Bluff, Arkansas: White America, Inc. [1955?]. First edition. A scarce surviving mimeographed broadside (36 x 22 cm) from White America, Inc., a segregationist organization founded by railroad official, L. D. Poynter, in the heavily black city of Pine Bluff, AK, in 1955, to "perpetuate the white race and to endeavor to have this and future generations remain free of contamination of Negro blood." This broadside is somewhat anomalous of the group's typical literature, which primarily addressed segregation and the Negro problem, but the fear of Communism was certainly as great if not greater than that of segregation and is therefore not out of character. White America, Inc. collaborated with the newly-formed White Citizens' Council and merged in the fall of 1956 becoming the Associated Citizens' Council of Arkansas. A Near Fine copy folded once.
