An issue of this newspaper affiliated with Fred Newman's National Alliance Party, which was described in a 1990 Congressional report as "part Marxist sect, part therapy cult, [and] part entertainment enterprise (producer of "talent shows" and "Musicruises" in New York City featuring big name performers)." Newman's leftwing activism began in 1968 and he was briefly affiliated with Lyndon LaRoche in the 1970s. In 1988, the NAP ran black psychologist Dr. Lenora Fulani as its Presidential candidate and she features widely in this issue. Other content for this issue includes an article on the Tawana Brawley rape case, which turned out to be hoax; a lengthy report on the 12th annual conference of the International Indian Treaty Council; news and coverage of other black political candidates; etc.
Tabloid format printed in black, red & green on newsprint, 24 pp., illustrated. Some soiling to rear cover, but a very good copy overall. Issues uncommon in the trade. Item #15088
