The Augusta Courier (2 issues)
Augusta, Georgia: The Courier Publishing Company, 1967. Two issues of Roy V. Harris' long-running, staunchly segregationist newspaper, which he edited from 1947-1974. Articles primarily focused on the inferiority of African Americans, the evils of integration, and the need to defeat liberals. Harris also used the paper as a mouthpiece for the Citizens' Councils of America, a pro-segregation group founded in the wake of Brown v. Board of Education, and for which Harris served as President from 1958-1966.
