Segregation or Integration: What Does the Bible Teach?

Asheboro, North Carolina: Published by the author, [ca. 1958]. A pamphlet based on the author's sermon preached at his Mountain View Baptist Church in Asheboro, NC, and then broadcast over the radio. Leake provides 130 references to Bible passages and historical accounts that support his belief in racial segregation and in holding to boundaries that God's ordained. He also includes brief references to Communist Russia, Nazi Germany, and the U.N. as countries or entities with global ambitions of bringing the world under one race or ideology. He then concludes the pamphlet by forcibly inserting the following statement of pseudoscience, "Often we notice the results of mixed marriages are children with crossed eyes, deformed limbs, impaired speech or unnatural appearance of skin and sometimes mental deficiency" (p. 21).
