"Glamour"
n.p. n.p., [1936]. A lithograph print depicting a skeleton wearing a tiara labeled WAR being courted by two men representing the banking and munitions industries. The artist, Lydia Gibson (1891-1964), was a socialist artist and activist who contributed to The Masses, The Liberator, The Blast, The Workers' Monthly, New Masses and other radical publications. She was married to the long-time Communist Party member, journalist and political cartoonist, Robert Minor. We have taken the title from another copy that was title, signed, and date by the author in 1936.
Printed in black on a 14" x 12" sheet of creme stock. A fine copy. Item #14344
