New York City: International Labor Defense, 1938. A pamphlet in defense of Tom Mooney, the labor leader who was convicted with Warren K. Billings of the San Francisco Preparedness Day Bombing of 1916. Long a cause celebre in radical circles, the International Labor Defense continued to advocate for his innocence and in 1939 (a year after this pamphlet's publication), he was pardoned. Marcantonio was a radical Italian American lawyer and politician who represented East Harlem.
