An unsent anti-Catholic postcard captioned "Three Things That Never Marry" and featuring a bulldog, a priest with a pig head, and a cow all set in a three leaf clover. Below is a poem that reads, "Jesuitism is the incarnation / of political hypocrisy. / A priest-taught people are / never versed in scripture. / Cultivate common sense and / you lessen Peter's pence." The verso includes space for a message and address with an American flag illustration captioned "Romanism and civil liberty will not mix any more t' an oil and water."
