A flyer from the America First Committee in opposition to HR 1776, the Lend-Lease bill, referred to by America First Committee members as the "War Dictatorship Bill." The text lists 11 ways in which the bill gives the President unprecedented power over the U.S. military without consulting the people or Congress and encourages members to contact their representatives in opposition. Despite the Committee's campaign, the bill passed and Roosevelt signed Lend-Lease into law on March 11, 1941.
