Bulgaria: A New Spain [cover title]
Chicago: Alexander Berkman Aid Fund, [1948]. A pamphlet on the repression of Bulgarian anarchists, which includes a lengthy study on the topic titled, "Bulgaria: The New Spain, Pseudo-Liberations," a short article on Communist Concentration Camps in Bulgaria, a partial list of anarchist and anarcho-syndicalists in these camps, an activity report by the Committee for Aid to Bulgarian Anti-Fascists, and excerpts from an appeal by the Bulgarian Anarchist-Communist Federation.
The pamphlet was compiled and printed by the Alexander Berkman Aid Fund in Chicago, a section of the Anarchist Black Cross led by Boris Yelensky. It was circulated by the Libertarian League in New York City, whose stamp is on the first page. It was later reprinted in 1983.
