Elizabeth Dilling’s most stridently anti-Semitic work (and her only pseudonymous one), in which she attacks B’nai B’rith’s Anti-Defamation League, which strives for “national control, through coercion or inducements, of speakers, books, articles, sermons, radio preachers, renting of halls for public meetings - in brief, of American freedom of speech, press and assembly. It stops at nothing in its efforts to publicly discredit any individual who dares oppose or expose any subversive activity that is Jewish, or who mentions anything unflattering to Jewry. It is breeding, instead of lessening, anti-Semitism” (p. 3). As she did in her previous two books, The Red Network, A “Who’s Who” and Handbook of Radicalism for Patriots (1934) and Roosevelt Red Record and Its Background (1936), Dilling provides extensive documentation to support her claims about the Jewish tentacles reaching into all aspects of American life. Laid in to this copy are two postcards from 1944 with brief notes from Dilling to a supporter followed by her initials.
