Labor Party, as well as the right wing intelligence network centered around John and Patricia Rees' "Information Digest." The issue concludes with a profile of the "New Right." Issue 2 features short updates on surveillance against leftwing activists; an article by Harvey Kahn and Sheila O'Donnell on the "Police Computer Complex" titled "Approaching the Orwellian Nightmare; three lengthy articles on COINTELPRO by Noam Chomsky, Mark Ryter and Chip Berlet; an article by Tim Butz on surveiling the anti-nuclear movement; and William Steiner's "Anti-Terrorism: The Making of a Bureacracy."
