A Danish translation of Martin Luther King, Jr's sermon, "Loving Your Enemies," in which Christ's injunction is one of "practical realism," not naive utopianism. First delivered in 1957, King gave the sermon many times at churches across the United States. It was first published in Danish in the December 24, 1963 issue of "Kristeligt Dagblad," a Danish newspaper originally founded in 1896 as a Lutheran Evangelical daily. It was then issued by the paper as a pamphlet the following year.
