Brooklyn: Kings County Committee, Communist Party, [1937?]. A pamphlet published by the Kings County branch of the CPUSA describing the Party’s struggle for trade unionism, racial equality, peace and socialism and for the election of the Italian-American Communist Party member Peter Cacchione for New York City Council. Although unsuccessful, Cacchione was elected to the Council in 1941, 1943, and 1945.
Stapled, illustrated wrappers (7” x 4 ¾”), 16 p., photograph of Cacchione. Light chipping to the bottom corner, else a Near Fine copy of a fragile item. An uncommon CPUSA title. Item #10572
