A collection of 13 violent and provocative flyers from a Nebraska Klan group

Lincoln, NE: Ku Klux Klan, [1990s?]. This group of flyers was distributed by a Lincoln, Nebraska Klan group and reflects the increasing convergence of neo-Nazis and the Klan beginning in the early 1980s when groups like the Aryan Nations, White Aryan Resistance, and other sought to unify various white supremacist factions. Two of the flyers feature images originally used by the Aryan Nations, others feature photographs of American Nazi Party founder George Lincoln Rockwell and Adolf Hitler. The flyers warn against race-mixing, degeneracy, drug use, race traitors, etc., while a few invite whites to “help stop black crime” by joining the Klan. One flyer threatens violence against “black apes caught ‘making eyes’ at a white girl” while another depicts the hanging of a SHARP (Skinheads Against Racial Prejudice) skinhead by a white power skinhead and Klansman. This collection represents some of the most violent and offensive Klan flyers that we’ve handled, which is saying something.
