Mailing List of Movement Organizations Against the War in Vietnam [and] For Social Change, October 1970
Philadelphia: Central Committee of Correspondence, 1970. A movement resource organized by state featuring contact information for a wide variety of anti-war, feminist, peace, gay liberation, cooperative, civil liberties, and anti-racism organizations, individuals and publications. The lists were updated and published by the Philadelphia-based Central Committee of Correspondence between 1968-74. Interestingly, the staff of the Central Committee included Vince Leaphart, who later took the name John Africa and founded the controversial group MOVE. Africa would later be killed along with 10 other members in the 1985 MOVE confrontation with the Philadelphia Police Dept.
