Two items from the Action For Women in Chile (AFWIC), an organization formed in late 1974 by a group of Latin and North American women to respond to the oppression of Chilean women under Pinochet. The Women’s Packet on Chile was “designed to provide the basic information necessary for initiating effective Chile solidarity work,” and includes a large poster, stickers, postcards, a petition, publication, and other flyers and information sheets. The AFWIC Newsletter consists of four corner-stapled 11” x 8 ½” sheets and includes information on the group’s varied activities. Item #10348
