The National Puton Press, Vol. 1, No. 10, January 1970

New York: The New Frontiers Publishing Co., 1970. A scarce issue of this satirical, free speech, sleaze tabloid featuring headlines such as “The Oddballs Who Prefer Censoring to Love Making,” “Right-Wing Commentator Says: ‘Sex Is a Commie Plot!’,” “Sex Maniac Terrorizes Town…He Replaces Victims’ Bellybuttons with Zippers After Raping Them,” “He Is Fired Because His Bust Is Too Big,” “He Raped 336 Girls - In His Sleep,” “Homo Hairdresser Shaves Head of Girl Who Stole His Lover, etc.” Also included are photographs of topless models, a centerfold poster of Gale Sanders, and adult adverts. We could find virtually nothing about this newspaper, and no issues exist in OCLC.
