Redmond, Ore. Free Press, [1948]. A two-sided handbill featuring the widely distributed cartoon of Uncle Sam pushing a Native American off a cliff only to meet the same fate at the hands of a Jew. The final panel features a hammer & sickle in the upper corner. Also included is an article by the Salt Lake City anti-Semite Marilyn Allen titled “Pussyfooting Preachers,” as well as a few shorter items on the Jews as the Synagogue of Satan, a quote by Joseph Stalin, and the Free Press’ mission to educate Americans on Communism. According to Singerman, this was one of the earliest iterations of the cartoon.

Printed in black on both sides of a 5” x 11” newsprint sheet. ‘Native Fascist 1948’ is penciled to recto, else Fine. Item #10052
