The Winrod Letter, Issue no. 88, April, 1969

Gainesville, Mo. Gordon Winrod, 1969. In this issue of The Winrod Letter, Gordon Winrod blames the Jews for the Vietnam War and claims: “Just as much as the human body needs daily food, so much does the lust of the Jews to kill Christians require satiety” (p. 2). He then includes excerpts from the Congressional Record of March 25, 1969, in which two Congressmen, Paul Findley and Tim Lee Carter, entered the names of the 31,379 American soldiers that had thus far been killed in Vietnam. He then quotes from issue 74 of The Winrod Letter on the solution to ending the war: “Let all citizens in these United States, in each County where they live, all do their part in KILLING ALL JEWS IN THEIR RESPECTIVE COUNTIES. This could easily be done in one day. On that same day the war in Vietnam will end” (p. 3). Other content includes an article on the proposal of an abortion bill in New Mexico that would allow “antichristian Jew murderers (so-called doctors) to legally kill babies!” (p. 4); and book reviews of two far right figures, Charles Cotten and Father Coughlin, who Winrod claims has sold out to the Jews.
