Milwaukee: Woman's Soul Publishing, Inc., 1974-75. Three early issues of this relatively long-running magazine focused on women and music. The journal was founded by Dorothy Dean in 1974 and featured songsheets, discographies, and technical information, as well as biographical profiles on famous and obscure women songwriters and musicians. The journal ran until 1980. It also led to the formation of Woman’s Soul Publishing, which organized numerous concerns featuring women performers.
