Discusses the attempt by Yonkers CORE to organize tenant councils in the Negro section of Yonkers. Proposes a continuance of community organizing in this area with the recommendation that it be organized on an interracial basis in order to bring political pressure on the power structure. An essential document providing insight into CORE's local organizing tactics.

W/ typed letter to the paper's author, the long-time activist and future Green Party candidate, Bob Auerbach, from an American Socialist Organizing Committee member. The correspondent, 'Komatz', calls CORE's perspectus [sic] on the Baltimore Task Force "CORE's usual pot of nothing stew." Not found by title in OCLC. An uncommon CORE item. Item #08078
