A satirical collection of conservative folk songs meant to “liberate this traditional American art form from the tyranny of assorted Beatniks and Pinkos.” A collaboration between sardonic political journalist, Noel Parmentel, Jr. and Maine humorist, Marshall Dodge, with drawings by satirist, David Levine. The songs were released on an accompanying LP and included hits such as, “Cool Goldwater,” “Hang Down Your Head, Tom Dewey,” “D’ye Ken John Birch,” “Hang Earl Warren, and “Won’t You Come Home, Bill Buckley.”
