A Crater Is to Dig [event flyer]

[Ann Arbor]: Interfaith Council for Peace (?), [1972]. An 8 ½” x 11” two-sided flyer for an anti-war vigil, in which participants would dig a crater to symbolically represent the 3,595 craters Ann Arbor would have if South Vietnam bombed them at the rate the U.S. has bombed it. According to the schedule of events, the dig was to last for a week followed by a dedication service, crater fill-in and tree planting ceremony. Horizontal and vertical creases from folding, else a well-preserved copy. Item #06372
