Behind Communism. Frank L. BRITTON.

Behind Communism

n.p., n.d. 12mo; glossy, stapled wrappers, 96, [2] pp, photographs. A far right classic, Britton's work sought to expose the inextricable link between Judaism and Communism. He begins by examining the Jewish "persecution myth" and the reasons why Jews have been consistently persecuted across Europe. He goes on to describe the overrepresentation in the bloody Bolshevik revolution and the subsequent role of treasonous Jews in America. He concludes by exposing the Jewish-Communist control over Hollywood, which he terms "Kosher Valley." Many photographs of prominent Jews and Communists throughout. Britton was a leading figure in the McCarthy era far right, publishing the anti-Semitic, anti-Communist organ, American Nationalist, and organizing a group called 'The New Confederates'. First published in 1952, the publishing history of this title is convoluted as many far right groups have reprinted it over the years. Our copy lacks publication information, but we don't believe it to be a contemporary reprint. Most reprints lack Britton's name to the cover and have $1.00 in the upper corner. Could be a first, although Singerman notes a Los Angeles address. Name to title page, else a Near Fine copy. [SINGERMAN, 0861]. Item #05630
