Cardinal Mindszenty: The Truth About His Real "Crime"

London: The Britons Publishing Society, [1950?]. First edition. Plain, stapled wrappers; 8 pp. This pamphlet compiled by Liet. Hilary Cotter who authored the conspiracy-laden "World Dictatorship by 1955? Why Forrestal Threw Himself out of the Window" (1951), which had been distributed by The Britons. József Mindszenty (1892-1975) was a Cardinal in the Catholic Church of Hungary and an uncompromising opponent of Communism, and allegedly anti-Semitic. He lived in the U.S. embassy for the next 15 years before leaving for Austria in 1971. We find one copy at Harvard. Corners bumped, negligible grazing along fore-edge, but Near Fine overall.
