National Socialism Now [A Martyr Speaks]

Metairie, LA: Sons of Liberty, [197-]. Reprint. 8vo; stapled card wrappers, 57 pp, photograph of Joyce. Originally published in 1937 to coincide with the formation of Joyce’s National Socialist League, Joyce, aka Lord Haw-Haw, professes his admiration for Adolf Hitler and argues for a specific brand of English National Socialism. Joyce left for Germany in 1940 to broadcast on behalf of the Nazi cause and was executed for treason in 1946. Our copy a scarce variant binding of the Sons of Liberty reprint featuring a noose illustration on the cover and the phrase, “A Martyr Speaks,” which differs from the standard reprint that replicated the book’s original cover. Some browning to wrappers with a few droplet stains. Any edition uncommon with four copies of the Sons of Liberty reprint found in WorldCat institutions (Hebrew Union College, MSU, UC Davis, and the Grand Rapids Public Library (?!). Item #05362
