The Point 1954: Father Leonard Feeney on the Jews, Secret Societies and the Fifth Column in the Catholic Church

Arabi, LA: Christian Defense League, 1993. Reprint. Paperback. Stapled, illustrated wrappers; 48 pp. A reprint of all twelve issues of "The Point" from 1954 by the indefatigable Far Right publisher, James K. Warner, who also provides an introduction. "The Point" was a newsletter written by the controversial Jesuit priest, Father Leonard Feeney (1897-1978), which lasted from 1952-59. Each issue was a combination of theological and political articles, with many expressing overt anti-Semitic, anti-Communist, anti-Liberalist sentiments. Feeney was ex-communicated from the Catholic Church in 1953 and founded the Slaves of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Original issues and those reissued by Warner are all uncommon. Also issued with no pagination by his Sons of Liberty imprint the same year. We find one copy of that edition in WorldCat at Michigan State; no record for this edition. Fine. Item #05000
