Octavo; plain, stapled wrappers; 12 pp. A manifesto issued by the Anti-Slavery and Aborigines Protection Society (today known as Anti-Slavery International) concerning Britain’s approach to its colonial policy following the end of WWII. The principles governing this policy should be racial equality, some form of self-government, education, a trusteeship for countries unable to stand alone, a non-exploitative economic policy, etc. Very light scuffing and browning to wrappers, but a VG+ copy of a scarce document. No other copies currently in commerce (Dec. 2017) with only three copies located in WorldCat institutions (Stanford, the Univ. of London and Univ. of Oxford). Item #04068
