A comprehensive history of the Church Missionary Society’s evangelization of the Punjab and Sindh from 1852-1884. This second edition was the considerably enlarged version of a book titled “Thirty Years of Missionary Work of the C.M.S. in the Punjab and Sindh,” originally published in Lahore in 1883 and mostly circulated privately. A small closed marginal tear to the front map with very light foxing, second map Fine. Slight rubbing to cloth, although gilt still bright; front hinge cracked but holding, rear hinge starting, boards cocked. A VG copy overall. No other copies currently appear in commerce (Dec. 2017).
