An exegesis of and rebuttal to The Poison In America’s Cup (1919), an isolationist pamphlet written by notable Hearst journalist Philip Francis. Winfred Howe, a Milwaukee history teacher, was incensed by Francis’ work after being given it by a student, and self-published this patriotic rebuttal.

Stapled, illustrated wrappers (6 ½” x 5”), 64 p. A near fine copy. For going through three editions, very few copies have survived. Less than six copies in Worldcat. Item #03657
