The indefatigable, Protestant Palestinian doctor and politician, Dr Izzat Tannous (1896-1969), provides a brief context and then allows British Command Paper No. 6873 to provide "the official record of the atrocious acts of the three "Jewish illegal para-military organizations in Palestine: the Hagana, the Irgun Zvei Leumi, and the Stern gangs, which "engaged in carefully planned movements of sabotage and violence under the guise of the "Jewish Resistance Movement."
