Morrison, Ill.: Confessional Lutheran Publicity Bureau, 1953-58. First edition. A broken run of six issues of the Confessional Lutheran Publicity Bureau's organ. The CLPB was organized in 1940 by a group of conservative Lutherans in response to worrying conciliations between the Missouri Synod and the American Lutheran Church. Issues include much in the way of doctrinal hair-splitting. We find no issues currently for sale in the trade (August, 2016); 12 institutions purport holding various issues in OCLC. Marginal dampstaining to a couple of issues; most with vertical fold for mailing. Item #03110
