Charles Brodie Patterson (1854-1917) was a Canadian expat and leader of the New Thought movement. He edited the journals “Mind” and “Arena” and authored over a dozen books on metaphysical topics. In 1903, he incorporated the Upland Farms Alliance at Oscawana-on-Hudson, NY, a 210 acre gathering place for like-minded individuals. This venture also purchased the rights to his previous publishing imprint, The Alliance Publishing Company, which originally published this title in 1901. Circulating library of Ida W.
